TESTIMONIALS

“We wanted a more wildlife-friendly garden and contacted Shaun after being shown his work by friends of ours. It's taken time to develop but we now enjoy an much more colourful, flower-rich lawn as well as bee and butterfly-rich borders."

Mrs J Corlett.

“Although only a tiny garden Shaun has worked with us in transforming what we have. We still have a little lawn but allow the edges to grow, which Shaun cuts for us annually. "

“Although only a tiny garden Shaun has worked with us in transforming what we do have. We still have a little lawn but allow the edges to grow, which Shaun cuts for us annually. The borders are so much brighter now which makes us spend more time in the garden."

Our holiday cottage guests often comment on how lovely the garden is, which is very much thanks to Shaun and his care of what we see as a natural garden. There's room for kids to play on the lawn, but we've got wilder areas full of wild flowers. He's taken care of the trees and shrubs and helped us continue to develop the garden. Highly recommended. "

"It's obvious how passionate Shaun is about nature, which is why we asked him if he could encourage more birds and wildlife to our garden. As well as planting climbers and shrubs, he's encouraged us to use bird feeders and nest boxes (we even have a little frog house now!). The garden just feels so much better now. Thank you Shaun."

Meet theTeam

Josie is my rough collie, some might say the brains of the outfit. She's young, friendly and well-behaved and comes with me everywhere. She usually gets to spend some time out in the gardens when it's safe to do so.

As for me, well I'm professionally qualified in horticulture and over the years have increasingly focussed on helping gardens and green spaces work better for wildlife. The results for both owners and nature are amazing, which drives me forward to do more.

I'm also a photographer and freelance nature writer. My images have sold worldwide and are on sale in galleries and art shops throughout Cumbria. I've written for Cumbria Wildlife Trust as well as newspapers and magazines such as Coast.

Whether it's gardening, photography or writing the common link reflected in all my work is a love of nature, and a sincere belief that we are so much better off by being connected more closely to it - now, more than ever.
